Caring is an act of meditation.

Living a reclusive life, practising meditative skills, and mental development is important. Caring for your family is also important. My mother has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. I am currently supplying 24/7 palliative care for my mother at home alongside the excellent staff of Bristol Royal Infirmary, Tyntesfield Medical Group, Sirona Care and Health, Mediquip, and St. Peter’s Hospice who have all guided and assisted myself and my mother over the last few weeks. We are both extremely grateful for everything that has been done to help us over this difficult and testing time. As a practising Buddhist Shaman I remember the legend of Lersi Por Gae Ta Fai which reminds us all that we can still be completely absorbed in the meditative act, evoking elements and colours, while still being kind and supportive to those around us. Caring is an act of meditation. The more we care, the more mindful we all become.
